Welcome to Country Ceremony – Aunty Diane Kerr – Moonee Ponds

Join Aunty Diane Kerr as she delivers a Welcome to Country ceremony in recognition of National Reconciliation Week and the 30th anniversary of Mabo Day.

Aunty Diane Kerr is a respected Elder of the Wurundjeri Tribe, and has dedicated much of her life to her local community. Her passion lies in the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal communities.

You will also hear from Moonee Valley’s Mayor, Cr Samantha Byrne as she touches on Moonee Valley’s Reconciliation journey.

Come along to pay your respects to the rightful owners of the land this National Reconciliation Week.

Light refreshments included.
