National Reconciliation Week
2023 Events
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.
You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Tribal Warrior cultural cruise
27 May @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm AEST
Learn about the traditional culture, history and stories of Sydney Harbour aboard the Mari Nawi (Big Canoe). You’ll hear stories of the Gadigal, Guringai, Wangal, Gammeraigal and Wallumedegal peoples of Sydney Harbour and learn the Aboriginal names and meanings of significant Sydney landmarks.
The cruise hosted by City of Sydney includes a tour of Be-lang-le-wool (Clark Island) and a cultural performance. A light lunch, tea and coffee are provided.
