The Art of Health and Wellbeing

May 31 @ 10:30 am - 11:00 am AEST

Each year, National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is an opportunity for all Australians to reflect on our shared histories, cultures and achievements.

Sharing stories and passing on traditional methods of art play an important role in the sustainability of Aboriginal Culture.

‘Visual art as an Aboriginal cultural practice and as a mental health practice: An online Q&A with Shu Brown and Alisa Tanaka-King’ is a moderated Q&A discussion about the many benefits of art used as mental health therapy.

Reconciliation Australia acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples should be aware that this website contains images or names of people who have passed away.
