National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

Default image for event submissions

The St George Illawarra Dragons will meet the Sydney Roosters on Friday, May 19th at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, Kogarah in one of the NRL’s most important annual celebrations, Indigenous Round.

Indigenous All Stars representatives Tyrell Sloan, Jack Bird, and Josh Kerr have all been named in the Dragons’ side for this week as they look to continue the club’s strong legacy of Indigenous players.

Jamie Soward was a key member of the Dragons’ 2010 premiership-winning squad whilst Nathan Blacklock, Anthony Mundine, and Amos Roberts are among other Indigenous greats to have left their mark on the club.

Both sides will be wearing specially-designed Indigenous jerseys when they face off at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
