National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

Second Skin – Essence of Country
31 May @ 10:00 am - 9 July @ 5:00 pm AEST
Second Skin – Essence of Country is an exhibition that celebrates the ongoing history and skillful use of animal pelts by Victorian First Peoples to create cultural belongings and works of art.
This exhibition resonates with the deep cultural significance that these belongings continue to hold, and the connections they enable – connections to each other, culture and Country.
The Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT) has one of Australia’s most significant collections of South East Australian art and cultural belongings. It is from this collection that Second Skin – Essence of Country is drawn.
