Reconciliation Week Movie Screening & Elder’s Yarn – ‘In My Blood It Runs’

June 3 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm AWST

‘In My Blood It Runs’ is an observational documentary that tells the story of 10 year old, Dujan. It is a powerful story told from the perspective of Dujan depicting his struggles to balance his traditional Arrente/Garrwa (Alice Springs) upbringing, school and increasing scrutiny from welfare and the police.

Following the movie participants are invited to talk about the movie with some of our passionate local Noongar Elders and enjoy a light lunch.
