Reconciliation at Warndoolier (Banks Reserve)
May 28 @ 10:00 pm - 11:30 pm AWST
This Reconciliation Week 2022 at Banks Reserve we honour the spirit of Noongar Elder Doolan-Leisha Eatts. Fittingly the theme for 2022 is “Be Brave. Make Change”.
It is a challenge to all of us —to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.
We will gather to acknowledge and share stories and a history of place and of our time, as a basis for exploring pathways forward.
Activity will include a smoking ceremony, walking the unique Reconciliation Sea of Hands Labyrinth and discussion of restorative justice and pathways forward. Donations accepted for Social Reinvestment WA.
