National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

 

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

 

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

 

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Reconciliation Match (Red Hill v Pines)

Red Hill FNC and Pines FNC welcome you to our annual Reconciliation Match at Red Hill Recreation Reserve, Bunurong Country.

This year’s game features a special tribute to Uncle Archie Roach, with event and grass artwork by Carla Lauch and Shaydon Ritchie.

Pre-Game welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony presented by Uncle Shane Clarke, with a special performance by Shaydon Ritchie.
With performances planned for both half-time and after the game in the Club Rooms.

There is also a pre-Game President’s Lunch in the Club Rooms, with special guest speaker. 2 Course lunch by the Epicurean Group (bookings required).
