National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

 

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

 

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

 

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Reconcilation Week – Community Event

1 June @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm AEST

Greater Shepparton City Council is pleased to be a partner of The Bridge Youth Service, in the upcoming Community Reconciliation Week event as part of 2023 National Reconciliation Week.

The community event will be held on Thursday 1 June 2023 at Victoria Park Lake, Shepparton and will feature free feed, traditional games, artefact display, music, dancers, activities, community connection and more!

Organisations involved include the Academy of Sport Health & Education, headspace, Uniting, Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative, Greater Shepparton City Council & River Connect, GOTAFE, Berry Street Youth Foyer and Point of Difference.
