National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

Reconcilation Walk as part of National Reconciliation Week

28 May @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm AEST

Join us during Reconciliation Week for a walk on country! Meet at one of our two starting points (at Whites Hill Reserve or kaggur-mabu/Mt Gravatt Lookout) as we walk together to the Holland Park Sports Club for a community event where we will connect and celebrate actions that will support greater reconciliation here in our local community.

Not keen on a walk – no worries! Show your support and join us at Holland Park Sports Club from 10am – 1:00pm for a sausage sizzle, cold drinks from the club and entertainment as we build connections, learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia

Walkers are asked to register to assist in planning and safety arrangements for this event. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
