National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.
Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.
You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.
Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Property Council of Australia Reconciliation Week Breakfast
2 June @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am ACST
Please join us for the Property Council of Australia Reconciliation Week Breakfast, proudly sponsored by Sarah Constructions and Renewal SA.
At its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between First Nations and non-Indigenous peoples for the benefit of all Australians.
The property industry approaches reconciliation with two great advantages, which also confer special responsibilities.
The first is that we represent an industry inescapably tied to the land. Every building and every new project sits on country that has been nurtured by First Nations peoples for thousands of years.
Secondly, our industry is Australia’s biggest employer, creating jobs for 1.4 million people. As we look to expand the economic opportunities for Indigenous people, the property industry can be a big part of the solution – and we can play an important role here in our great state of South Australia.
