National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

National Reconciliation Week – Compass Group

5 June @ 10:30 am - 11:00 am AWST

During National Reconciliation Week 2023 we raised funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation by hosting a book swap in each of our offices in Australia.

We’re holding a Great Book Swap to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) to provide books and learning resources to children living in remote Communities across Australia. The Great Book Swap is a fantastic way to celebrate reading locally, learn more about Indigenous languages and culture, and raise funds for a great cause.

We then also held a morning tea in each office on the 31st of May to get everyone together to talk about National Reconciliation Week and for everyone to educate themselves for the upcoming vote of the Voice.
