National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

 

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

 

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

 

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

National Reconciliation Community Day

1 June @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm AEST

Please join us for our Community Day event where we come together to learn, reflect on our shared history and celebrate the achievements and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The event will include performances by Muladha Gamara Dancers and Torres Strait Islander dance team Kebi Kub.

A range of Blak Market stalls that will be selling authentic Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander food, clothing, arts and crafts. Come grab a FREE sausage sizzle and join in on the celebrations with us.
