More than a word. Reconciliation takes action – Supporting the Aboriginal workforce in the AOD sector

June 3 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm AEST

The theme for 2021 is a call to action for all of us to collaborate, support and walk the walk when it comes to reconciliation. One of the key things we can all do in the alcohol and other drugs sector (AOD) sector is to grow and support the Aboriginal workforce. Join members of the Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Network (ADAN) for a lively discussion about the key things that would enhance the support of Aboriginal people working in the AOD sector. We will also explore what the role of non-Aboriginal services is in assisting the growth of the Aboriginal workforce.

Reconciliation Australia acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
