Mabo: 30 years on

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the landmark decision which recognised in Australian law for the first time the right of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to their lands.

State Library of Queensland invites members of the Torres Strait Islander community to acknowledge the remarkable life, politics, activism, and legacy of Eddie “Koiki” Mabo and celebrate the Legacy: Reflections on Mabo exhibition.
