National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Please note: the events posted below are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

Devonport National Reconciliation Week Breakfast

30 May @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am AEST

We are proud to announce our main speaker for our National Reconciliation Week breakfasts across the state is renowned journalist, five-time gold logie award winner, Kamilaroi man and reconciliation champion Ray Martin.

With our passionate special guests and a program led and delivered by prominent First Nations people, Reconciliation Tasmania’s 2022 NRW Breakfast Program was a huge success with nearly 1,000- people attending our three breakfasts across the state.

In 2023 we are keeping up the momentum with this year’s theme being Be A Voice for Generations. The theme encourages all Australians to be a voice for reconciliation in tangible ways in our everyday lives – where we live, work and socialise. For the work of generations past, and the benefit of generations future, act today for a more just, equitable and reconciled country for all.
