National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

 

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

 

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

 

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

Community program includes:

• Welcome to Country and Smoking
Ceremony by a local Bunurong Elder
• Hip Hop dance performance by the
Indigenous Youth Outreach Project
• Storytime in the Library presented by a
Bunurong Elder, along with Reconciliation
hotdog book workshop from Kids Own
Publishing.

There are plenty of other Council activities happening throughout Reconciliation Week.
