Cardinia Shire Council – Flag Raising Eve

May 27 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm AEST

The flag-raising event will provide an opportunity to bring people together to build stronger relationships between Indigenous children, young people and families with Council and other non-indigenous community members.

The event will include an Acknowledgement to Country, a flag raising ceremony, speeches by local elders and the Cardinia Shire Council Mayor, the launch of the Reconciliation Action Plan, afternoon tea by Indigenous caterer Mabu Mabu, and a range off un-activities for children and young people to participate in.
