National Reconciliation Week

2023 Events

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

 

The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June.

 

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a whole range of activities.

 

You can also add your own event to this calendar or register your private event.

ACT Reconciliation Day 2023

Come along to the ACT Reconciliation Day to celebrate National Reconciliation Week!

There will be a smoking ceremony by Ngunnawal traditional custodian Uncle Wally Bell to kick off the event. Followed by numerous live performances, language workshops, art & craft workshops, family fun games and more!

The day’s activities reflect the National Reconciliation Week 2023 theme Be a Voice for Generations which is designed to promote conversation and foster a deeper understanding of our national story and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
